Working at sea is one of the most challenging jobs in the UK, and the time spent offshore means it can be a problem getting treatment for work-related injuries.
The Seafarers Hospital Society (SHS) has recently reviewed their scheme to promote physiotherapy to fishermen by providing them with a more local and FREE physiotherapy service (already trialed in Newlyn, Cornwall).
Since October 2018 if you are local to Brixham or visiting the port, you can now have FREE physiotherapy advice and treatment funded by the Seafarers Hospital Society provided by Tidal Physiotherapy. Please contact us at the practice for details and further information.
